There is more than one way for you to get involved with the work of the trust as a volunteer....

 

First is by becoming a fund raiser. The work of the trust relies wholly on donations and we would love to hear from anyone who would be willing to give their time to raise funds for the trust in their local area.

Second is by becoming a volunteer speaker. The aim of the trust is to promote asthma awareness in schools and elsewhere and this can only be done effectively with the aid of committed volunteers who are willing to become speakers.

The school talks are still in the pilot stage at present which can be expected to take the rest of 2008. Once the pilot talks are succefully completed, it is hoped to train suitable volunteers to take the message of the trust into as many schools and other organisations as possible. Progress on the pilot talks will be posted on this website and anyone who is intersted should monitor this site for news on when recruitment and training is ready to begin.
