Alex Curtis Memorial Trust (ACT) promotes awareness and good management of asthma for young people.
We give talks directly to school students, staff and parents on asthma and how to minimise its impact on the lives and education of young people.
We provide material showing how to cope with an acute asthma attack and information about asthma.
We seek to influence industry, political and professional organisations about better management of acute asthma; and to authorise the use of generic reliever inhalers in schools.

Are you sure your asthma is well controlled? Don't guess - use a PEAK FLOW METER. Ths device can tell you if your lung function is good or not and thus, how well your asthma is controlled. The trust is passionate about this and we are campaigning to get everyone with asthma using a PEAK FLOW METER AND DIARY. Join us now. If you don't have one -e-mail us and we will send you one along with a diary.
